QuincyNat® is born from the union of amaranth AmaChol® and quince, a synergic effect to modulate metabolic parameters, diabetes and cholesterol.

COMPOSITION

QuincyNat® is a plant phytocomplex based on AmaChol® amaranth and quince.

AmaChol® amaranth is rich in fiber and, thanks to its low glycemic index (GI: 35), represents a good option for regulating sugar levels. The results of the in vivo study conducted on AmaChol® demonstrated a reduction in post-prandial blood sugar and glycated hemoglobin, a significant reduction in cholesterol and above all weight loss and BMI, in 3 months of administration.

The quince fruit, Cydonia oblonga, belongs to the Rosaceae family and is rich in vitamins, minerals (especially calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron), amino acids (including glycine, aspartic acid and asparagine), fiber, pectin and tannins. Pulp, peel and seed: a mix of health dictated by organoleptic characteristics and excellent nutritional qualities. QuincyNat®, thanks to the physical-chemical analyzes carried out, has a high mucilage content (25%).

Apple pectin is useful for reducing the absorption of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood and modulating blood sugar levels with a view to prevent diabetes, overweight and metabolic syndrome. The quince is a resource linked to the territory, typical of the Lodi area, where NatIng was born.

FOOD SAFETY

The quince fruit and AmaChol® amaranth both have health claims as recognized and admitted by the Ministry of Health (see Attachment 1-Botanicals of the Ministerial Decree of August 10, 2018), respectively for regularity of intestinal transit, emollient and soothing action on the digestive system and cholesterol metabolism. Amaranth is defined as a “superfood” as it offers high levels of nutrients with beneficial properties for health with a view to prevention.
